Kinetic Machine Works was founded by Dale Place in 2000. The owner/operator did everything from heavy equipment maintenance, manufacturing, and machining by himself in a 1,200 sq. ft. shop.
By 2004, Kinetic Machine Works expanded to a 5,000 sq. ft. facility with 12 employees. The growth over the years has been incredible and now we are the largest machine shop in Manitoba with a 30,000 sq. ft. facility. We are a highly skilled machine shop with CNC and manual machines.

Custom Manufacturing
We offer complete on-site millwright services, custom great cutting and rebuilding services and professional mechanical engineering and drafting services. We also specialize in general and exotic metal welding.
Full Repair Capabilities
Portable milling and resurfacing, repairs to hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, valves, pumps, motors and air compressors, shaft straightening, heat treating, surface and cylindrical grinding, specializing in exotic material such as composites, brass, stainless, aluminum and white metal fabrication and repair.
Quality Customer Services
Open 17 hours a day Monday to Friday or by special arrangement. A fleet of trucks and cranes to provide on-site service. Shuttle service to Winnipeg daily to quickly expedite parts or drawings.
Fully Equipped and Trained
Heated 30,000 square foot shop is CWB 47.1 certified, COR certified, ASME B51 certified and has ISO 9001 registered. Large milling and cylindrical grinding centers, large lathes with 40” swing and 16 foot centers, and large horizontal boring mill are available.
